The Legal Studies Association is pleased to offer the following professional development for members:
Title: Crime, Technology and Young People

Presenter: Her Honour, Judge Skinner, President of the Children’s Court of NSW
Experienced teachers, as well as those who are new to Legal Studies, will find this an invaluable professional development event with application to both the Preliminary and HSC syllabus. Teachers will gain valuable information and reflect on new possibilities to engage students and improve achievement of outcomes. Her Honour Judge Skinner will speak about the issues and implications associated with young people and their interaction with the digital world, with unique insights from the perspective of the criminal justice system.
Highly positive feedback was received following Her Honour’s presentation at the 2024 LSA Annual Conference, and we are delighted that Judge Skinner has made herself available to provide this additional professional development session for teachers.
The Information Night can be counted towards elective professional development hours.
Information Nights are provided for LSA Members only and registration is essential.
