Dear members
First of all, I hope you have had an awesome start to the new year. Thankyou for being members of our amazing association once again. I have a few things to make you aware of in case you haven’t quite caught up with such a busy start to the year.
Annual Professional Teachers Council (PTC) IELA Awards night.
Date: Wednesday February 25th, 2026 @ 6pm
Venue: Waterview at Sydney Olympic Park
Notes: This event recognises and celebrates achievements from professional associations from 2025. The LSA has 6 committee and broader membership award recipients this year. The event is by invitation only.
LSA Top 20 event
Date: Tuesday March 3rd, 2026 5-7pm
Venue: Teachers Federation Conference Centre, Surry Hills
Notes: This event recognises and celebrates our Top 20 HSC achievers from 2025. The event is by invitation only. Our LSA Life Members have been invited to this event.
LSA Annual State Conference
Date: Thursday March 26th and Friday 27th March
Venue: Teachers Federation Conference Centre, Surrey Hills

As always, an outstanding 2-day conference program has been organised. There are some major changes this year with a different venue being utilised and a networking session replacing the conference dinner. Our LSA Life Members have been invited to the networking session.
