2026 – LSA NSW – HSC Student Lectures

LSA NSW has put together the best possible program and are proud to announce the addition of an online offering prior to the Trial HSC Examination.

These lectures will cover the whole course, including core topics (Crime and Human Rights) and all the options. The presenters are all experienced Legal Studies teachers and HSC Markers who have a lot to offer students preparing for their trials and HSC examinations.

Notes will be emailed to participants prior to the lectures. No handouts will be available on the day. Catering is limited, so participants are advised to bring their own food.

In most circumstances the lectures will be delivered by the same lecturer. If a lecturer is unable to attend, the LSA reserves the right to use a different presenter, who will use the same materials 

Students will gain an immense amount of value by attending and learning from these lecture presentations.

Please advise your students that mobile phones are not permitted within the auditoriums. Any student behaving in an inappropriate manner will be asked to leave the venue.

• Newcastle Lectures (University of Newcastle) - Tuesday 14th July 2026 - In-Person Attendance -  8:30am - 2:30pm - NUspace, University of Newcastle, Hunter Street & Auckland Street, Newcastle NSW 2300
• Sydney Lectures (Westmead Hospital) - Saturday 25th July 2026 - In-Person Attendance -  8:30am - 2:30pm - Westmead Education and Conference Centre - Darcy Rd, Wentworthville NSW 2145 - The venue is part of Westmead Hospital. 
• Regional Post-Trials - Friday 28th August 2026 -  Online via Zoom - 9:00am - 1:30pm

Cost of Online Events - Regional Pre-Trials and Regional Post-Trials (GST included):   

• $50.00 - 1-2 Students
• $100.00 - 3-5 Students
• $200.00 - 6-10 Students
• $250.00 - 11-15 Students
• $300.00 - 16+ Students

 Cost of In-Person Events - Newcastle Lectures and Sydney Lectures

• $50.00 per student (GST included) 
• ONE accompanying teacher free per 15 students. Students may attend without a teacher. 
• $50.00 per teacher with fewer than 15 students or attending without students (GST included) 

PAYMENT MAY BE MADE WHEN BOOKING OR BY INVOICE
